Candice Willis

Mrs. Candice Lynn Howell Willis, age 56 of Resaca, GA died Monday, April 30, 2012 at Memorial Hospice in Chattanooga, TN following two years of declining health.

Candice was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on March 4, 1956, eldest daughter of Brady and Marie Howell. She had been employed by Flying J of Resaca for the past 14 years. Her father, Brady W. Howell preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Sinclair "Sonny" Willis of Resaca; a son, Jason Jahoples of Ringgold, GA; mother and step father, Marie and Ardell Howell; three brothers, Brady Howell and his wife Sharon of Proctor, WV, Michael Howell and his wife Dina of New Martinsville, WV, and Winfred Howell of Sardis, OH; and four sisters, Dee Potts and her husband Nick, Sharon Goddard and her husband Darrell, and Teresa Gilbert and her husband Mike, all of New Martinsville, WV, And Heather Rine and her husband Derrick of Sistersville, WV. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Candice Lynn Howell Willis will be conducted Thursday, May 3rd. at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Shane Parrott officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Mike Jones, Chris Brown, Wes Hall, Jimmy Shaw, Clifford Daniel and Jack Jenkins will serve as pallbearers.

The family of Candice Lynn Howell Willis will receive friends Wednesday between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
