Carl L. Spell

Mr. Carl L. Spell, 71 of Calhoun, died Friday, December 25, 2015. He was born in Macon, GA on December 10, 1944, son of the late Johnny Spell and Emma Davis Spell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Outlaw and Clyde Spell, and a sister, Peggy Longwell.

Mr. Spell lived in Florida for many years and relocated to the Calhoun area 25 years ago. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kay Jones Spell; a brother, John Outlaw; and sisters, Ruby Brooker and Marie Belcher.

Services for Mr. Carl L. Spell will be held Tuesday, December 29th at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. John Outlaw officiating. Honoring Mr. Spell's wishes, cremation will follow the service.

The Spell family will receive friends and guests at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
