Caroline Gabriela Tatum, 24, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Caroline was born in Atlanta on January 14, 1996 to Joel Daniel "Danny" Tatum and Angela Young Holcomb. Her grandfather, Augustus Daniel Tatum and her grandmother, Evelyn Mull Young preceded her in death. She worked as a bartender and server at Chillfire Restaurant in Denver, North Carolina.
Caroline is survived by her father, Joel Daniel Tatum of Waterford City, North Dakota; her mother Angela Young (Alan) Holcomb, of Calhoun; her brother, Joel Daniel Tatum Jr., of Blue Ridge; her sisters, Courtney Danielle Tatum (Zach), of Blue Ridge, and Allison Holcomb (Andrew) Davis, of Calhoun; her grandfather, James William Young, of Blue Ridge; her grandmother, Pat Smith, of Denver, North Carolina; a special friend, Christina Carsley-Bess, of Lincolnton, North Carolina; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
So many friends, coworkers, and loved ones impacted her life. Her family will cherish the memories they all made together. A Go Fund Me Account has been set up using the search "Caroline Gabriela Tatum".
Her family and friends will join to celebrate her life on Saturday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the family homeplace: 6851 Blue Ridge Drive, Blue Ridge, Georgia. Eulogists are Holly Nelson and Alan Holcomb. All friends and family are invited to attend.
