Carolyn Darlene Jones

Mrs. Carolyn Darlene Jones, age 52 of Calhoun, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at a Rome hospital. She was born in Gordon County on March 30, 1958, daughter of the late Franklin Henry Anderson and the late Willie Payne Anderson.

Prior to her illness, she was employed in the textile industry with The Sample Company, and was a member of the House of Prayer Baptist Church.

Survivors include her companion, Jack Logan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special friend, Faye Griffith.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Darlene Jones will be conducted Tuesday, March 22nd at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Delmar Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Crane Eater Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Anthony Murray, Hoyt Kinsey, Brian Kinsey, Jackie Voyles, Ray Leroy, and Harley Gill.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
