Catherine Hicks Greengrass

Mrs. Catherine Hicks Greengrass, 88 of Cartersville, GA, died Friday, October 6, 2017 at Cartersville Medical Center. She was born in Fulton County on January 29, 1929, daughter of the late Carlton and Neppie Hicks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Dameron.
Mrs. Greengrass retired from Lockheed Martin. She was a member of Talking Rock Creek Chapel.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, James "Jim" Greengrass; her son and daughter-in-law, James H. and Cecelia Greengrass of Chatsworth; her daughters and sons-in-law, Jenny and Harvey Thrower of Cartersville, Kay and Ron Lee of Canton, and Lynn Harris of Trenton, SC; her grandchildren, Beth Greengrass, James and Josh Gravitt, Penny Thrower, Ronnie Lee, Katie Shearin, Blake Dameron, Jennifer Miller, Catherine Harding, Wendell and David Harris, Beth Johnson, and Becky Jones; and great-grandchildren, Gavin, Tyler, Jacob, Sawyer, Sadie, Odin, Kaydence, Jaxson, Addison, Savannah, Carleigh, Jaden, Asher, Harper, Brody, Chloe, Riley, Jake, Annalyn, Christina, Alauna, Alex, and Jermine, Jr. Several great-great grandchildren also survive.
A Memorial Service to honor the life of Mrs. Catherine Hicks Greengrass will be held Wednesday, October 11th at 11:00 a.m. from Sutallee Baptist Church, 895 Knox Bridge Hwy. White, GA 30184, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating.
