Cathy Hancock Colston

Mrs. Catherine (Cathy) Sue Hancock Colston, age 67 of Calhoun, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Gordon Hospital.

She was born in Ypsilanti, MI on October 14, 1948, daughter of the late George and Margaret Gebhardt Kopp. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Turner, and her first husband and the father of her children, John "Bud" Hancock in 2006.

She was a retired employee of Mannington Mills after 25 years of dedicated service.

Survivors include her daughters, Tina Blalock, Theresa Lavallee and her husband Eddie, and Tonya Wooten and her husband Jody, all of Calhoun; grandchildren, Makenzie, Malone and Brody Blalock, Dustin Lavallee and his wife Felicia, Kiersten Lavallee, and Taylor, Ashley, Cole, Addison and Bryleigh Wooten; a great-grandchild, Jadyn Parris; and brothers, Larry Kopp of Florida, and David Kopp of Michigan.

A service to honor the life of Catherine (Cathy) Sue Hancock Colston will be held on Thursday, May 26th at 8:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home.

The family of Mrs. Colston will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour.
