Cathy Louise Dupree

Cathy Louise Dupree, age 58 of Calhoun, died Monday, January 12, 2015 at her home after a courageous battle with gallbladder cancer since Thanksgiving Day, 2010. She was born in Pickens County, GA on August 19, 1956, daughter of Otis Dupree and the late Jeanette Watson Hardy.

Cathy was a graduate of Adairsville High School, Class of 1976.

She leaves behind her sons, Joseph Clark and Aaron Clark, both of Calhoun; her father and step-mother, Otis and June Dupree of Lillian, AL; step-brothers, Jeff Nunn, Lindsey Nunn, and Edward Nunn; grandchildren, Nathan Clark, James Warman, Shane Warman, Thomas Clark, Maria Clark, and Chloe and Gage; and her step-father, Joe Hardy of Rome. A host of other relatives also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Cathy Louise Dupree will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 7:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Edward Nunn officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 PM until the service hour of 7:00 PM.
