Mr. Charles Richard Fuquea Jr, 44, of Calhoun, died suddenly Friday morning from natural causes.
Richard was born in Whitfield County, Georgia, on October 1, 1980, the son of Charles Richard Fuquea Sr and the late Linda Bowman. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his favorite aunt and uncle, Johnny and Willene Henson Edwards.
He grew up in Gordon County and graduated from Gordon Central High School in 1999. He enjoyed everything related to automobiles and computers. He could build an automobile or computer from the ground up. He spent most of his career in the automotive industry and was manager of the local NAPA Store. He was a man who was always kind and exhibited patience in everything he did.
Survivors include his wife, Nicole Sanford Fuquea; two daughters, Holley Long and Alli Long; brother Michael Fuquea and his wife Cristi; niece Maggie Fuquea; nephew Carter Fuquea; multiple cousins; and other relatives.
Due to Richards's wishes, he was cremated, and no public service will be held.
