Charles Jordan Sluder

Mr. Charles Jordan Sluder, age 75 of Calhoun, died Friday, January 10, 2014 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was born in Gordon County on August 6, 1938, son of the late Charlie and Emma Hollifield Sluder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Glenn Sluder, and a daughter, Debbie Anne Sluder Edge.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas (Angie) Sluder of Dalton, Billy Sluder of Calhoun, and Russell (Crystal) Sluder of Dalton; a brother, Jim Sluder of Oakman; two sisters, Geneva Brown and Ruby Ratcliff of Oakman; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Jordan Sluder will be held Monday, January 13th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery.

The Sluder family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM.
