Charles Mccormick

Mr. Charles Guinton McCormick age 69 of Sugar Valley, Georgia passed away Thursday November 2, 2006 at Gordon Hospital.

Mr. McCormick was born in Etowah County, Alabama on October 21, 1937 son of the late Theodore McCormick and Allie Pate McCormick. He was a truck driver for C&S Distributors. Mr. McCormick was preceded in death by his wife Estelle McCormick on March 11, 2005 and by two sisters Imagene Casey and Opal Bowlin.

Survivors include four sons and daughter-in-laws; Ted and Selena McCormick, Anthony and Tammy McCormick, Alan and Vanessa McCormick and Ben and Michelle McCormick all of Calhoun. Two brothers; Bill McCormick of Attala, Alabama and Troy McCormick of Boaz, Alabama. Grandchildren; Chris, Dustin, Meghan, Chaz, Tanner, Kayla, Koty, Carli and Wes McCormick, Haley Patterson, Daniel and Lamont Gallman, Amanda Cantrell, Adam McClendon and Ashley Nix and a great granddaughter, Bethany Mary Nix also survives.

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles McCormick will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Phillips officiating. Interment will be in the Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Family members will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will include Lynn Melton, Mahalon Jaco, George Beem and Pete Bethea. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Saturday after 3:00 p.m.
