Charlie Ralston

Mr. William Charlie Ralston, 87 of Ranger, GA died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Floyd Medical Center following several months of declining health. He was born in Gordon County on February 19, 1929, son of the late Howard and Ethel McPherson Ralston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Ralston, Robert Ralston, Ernest Ralston, and Sam Ralston.

Mr. Ralston was a farmer and a veteran, serving his country in the US Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Ralston; his sons and daughter-in-law, Gary William and Vivian Ralston of Calhoun, and Keith Bryan Ralston of Ranger; his brothers, Lee Ralston of Adairsville and J.W. and Mary Jean Ralston; a sister, Opal Ingle of Calhoun; and grandchildren, Lacie Ralston and Lucas (Angelica) Ralston. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Honoring his request, Mr. Ralston's body will be cremated. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
