Mrs. Charlotte Brown, age 59 of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 20, 1950. Mrs. Brown was employed by Mohawk Industries. She was preceded in death by her best friend, David Durham, and a son-in-law, Steve Cooper.
Survivors include her parents, Lendle Boyd Meadors and Mossie Walker Meadors; three daughters, Theresa Cooper, Tina Bradley and her husband Bobby, both of Calhoun, and Dawn Duncan, of Rome; and three brothers, Ken Meadors and his wife Mary of Acworth, James Meadors and his wife Vickie of San Antonio, Texas, and Robert Meadors of Cincinnati. Other survivors include grandchildren, Amber Cronnon and her husband Shawn, Brooke Duncan, Derrick Duncan, Dylan Duncan, and Chris and Kenny Cooper; great-grandchildren, Ryan Patterson, Jacob Cronnon, and Darian Bradley, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Brown will be conducted Thursday, April 15th at 2:00pm from the Sugar Valley Baptist Church, with Rev. Mitch Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will include Ken Meadors, James Meadors, Eric Meadors, Gary Brown, Sr., Gary Brown, Jr., and Robert Meadors.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
