Chasteen Beasley Silvers, age 83 of Calhoun, died Friday, June 1st at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome.
Mrs. Silvers was born in St. Clair County, Alabama on June 26, 1933, daughter of the late Herschel and Ruby Henson Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. B.W. Silvers in 2008; two brothers, Billy Joe Beasley and Buddy Beasley; and a grandson, Anthony Burton. She retired from Manning Mills in 2002.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Ingram and her husband Stephen of Calhoun; sons, Markie Burton of Calhoun and Adam Silvers and his wife Denice; two step-daughters, Judy Duncan and her husband Dennis and Dianne McBurnett and her husband Wayne of Calhoun; step son, Jerry Silvers and his wife Linda of Calhoun; a sister, Nina Yancey and her husband Clifford; grandchildren, Chris McGuire, Brittney McGuire, Cody McGuire, Christopher Ingram, Justin Ingram, Kaitlyn Ingram, April Silvers, Amy Burton, Andy Burton, Paula Parker, Melissa Sizemore, Jared Gray, and Jerry Wayne Silvers; along with several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Chasteen Beasley Silvers will be conducted Friday, June 2nd at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Adam Silvers officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Jerry Silvers, Jerry Wayne Silvers, Jared Gray, Alan Parker, Justin Ingram and Andy Burton.
The family of Chasteen Beasley Silvers will receive friends Thursday evening between the hours of 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home.
