Chloie Lawson Dooley

Mrs. Chloie Lawson Dooley, age 75 of Adairsville, GA passed away suddenly Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was born in Delano, TN on March 13, 1939, daughter of the late Tommy and Ada Jenkins Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Dooley in 1998; a son, Stephen Phillips; brothers, Jack Lawson and Lester Lawson, both of Lenoir City, TN; a sister, Karella Long; and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Blalock.

Mrs. Dooley was retired from Shaw Industries, and was of the Church of God faith.

She leaves behind two sons, Rev. Tommy Phillips and his wife Gloria, and Glenn Phillips, both of Calhoun; a brother, Jimmy Lawson of Calhoun; three sisters, Wanda Blalock of Adairsville, Vickie Blalock and her husband Harold of Calhoun, and Lonnita Willis and her husband Al of Adairsville; a brother-in-law, Johnny Long of Calhoun; grandchildren, Brandon (Jessica) Phillips, Darrell (Jennifer) Phillips, Tad Phillips, and Casey (Tonni) Smith; and great-grandchildren, Deven Smith, Bronwyn Smith, Jalynn Phillips, Jayda Phillips, and Carson Phillips. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Chloie Lawson Dooley will be held Sunday, September 14th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Brandon Phillips, Darrell Phillips, Tad Phillips, Mark Floyd, Lanne Lawson, Gary Blalock, Kam Willis, Calvin Benton, Logan Floyd, Lorin Lawson, Jackie Lawson, Donnie Lawson, and Randy Long.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 13th from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
