Mr. Christopher "Chris" Hollingsworth age 42 of Calhoun died Wednesday January 14, 2015 of complications from Lupus.
Chris was born in Dalton, GA on June 27th, 1972, son of Ruby Bryant and the late James Hollingsworth Sr. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kristian Morrell Windsor in 2011 and 2 brothers, Ricky Hollingsworth in 1967 and James Hollingsworth Jr. in 2010. He was a member of the Calhoun Church of God of Union Assembly.
Funeral services for Mr. Christopher "Chris" Hollingsworth will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 PM from Church of God of The Union Assembly Calhoun, Highway 53 across from Wal-Mart with Ministers, Fred Castle and Danny Gentry officiating with Interment to follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include; Randy Gilbert, Josh Nix, James Hollingsworth III, Dewayne Gibbs, Sonny Turner, Levi Nix and Jesse Hollingsworth. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, Friday January 16th after 6:00 PM.
Survivors include two daughters, Kayla Windsor of Calhoun and Rebecca Hollingsworth of Rising Fawn, GA and two sons, Christopher Hollingsworth and Cody Hollingsworth both of Rising Fawn, GA. Mother and step-father, Ruby and Tony Bryant. Two sisters, Janice Nix and her husband Levi and Tammy Gibbs and her husband Dewayne all of Calhoun and one brother, Jesse Hollingsworth and his wife Vickie of Villanow, GA. two grandchildren, Stephen Eugene Windsor and Zorin Tony Cole Windsor. Other relatives also survive.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to "The Chris Hollingsworth Memorial Fund", P.O. Box 1027, Calhoun, GA 30703 to help with final expenses.
