Mrs. Christy Ann McKnight, age 40 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010.

Mrs. McKnight was born on April 18, 1970 in New Jersey, daughter of Harold Lewis Davis and Barbara Ann Krulikowski Davis. She was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Henderson, and a brother, Harold Davis, Jr. She was employed at Shoney's Restaurant in Calhoun.

Survivors include a daughter, Angel Chattam of Dalton; two sons, Joe Roper of Armuchee, and Dustin Henderson of Calhoun; father and step-mother, Harold and Cindy Davis of Michigan; her mother, Barbara Davis of Calhoun; two sisters, Holly Chamlee and her husband Brian, and Bethany Davis; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Stephanie Davis, and Matthew and Angie Davis, all of Calhoun. Grandchildren surviving are Kristayne, Landon, and Caleb. A special nephew, Cody Adams; a nephew, Aaron Davis; a niece, Kirsten Davis; and aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Christy Ann McKnight will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Maynard Thomas officiating. Active pallbearers will be Ross Wyatt, Dallas Bryant, Benny Roper, Dustin Henderson, Joe Roper and Matthew Davis. Ricky Davis will serve as an honorary escort. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4:00pm until 9:00pm.
