Clara Mcdaniel

Mrs. Clara "Nettie" McDaniel, age 90, of Sanford, Florida passed away Thursday, April 05, 2007 following three weeks of declining health. She was born in Gordon County on January 1, 1917, daughter of the late George W. and Samantha Baker Knowles. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel McDaniel; three brothers; W.J. Knowles and Harbin Knowles of Calhoun, and Earnest Knowles of Marietta; and three sisters; Rosa Knowles, Grace Parker, and Lillie Mae Couch, all of Calhoun.

Survivors include a great nephew, Gary and his wife Joyce Knowles of Calhoun. Other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service for Mrs. McDaniel will be conducted Monday, April 9, 2007 at 4:00pm at the Blackwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
