Clinton Marion Dutton

Mr. Clinton Marion Dutton, age 88 of Adairsville, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at his residence. He was a native of Gordon County, born on December 9, 1922 to the late Clinton Marion and Fanny Dutton. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Virginia Louise Parker Dutton; a son, Ray Dutton; a daughter, Sheryl Faulkinberry; two brothers, J.B. Dutton and Pat Dutton; a sister, Floy Ray; a sister-in-law, Mattie Lee Dutton; and a brother-in-law, Clyde Watson.

Mr. Dutton was retired from Klopman Mills and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran, serving his country in the US Army.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Dutton and Robert Dutton and his wife Samantha; a son-in-law, Lynn Faulkinberry; two brothers, Max Dutton and Earl Dutton and his wife Maryelle; a daughter-in-law, Joan Dutton; a sister, Evie Watson; and a brother-in-law, Bill Ray. Grandchildren surviving are Tammy Baker, Tonya Campbell, Junior Dutton, Randy Dutton, Nicky Smith, Renee Mendel, Parrish Dutton, Schae Dutton, Julia Black, Harley Dutton, Denise Worley, Anthony Faulkinberry, and Eric Faulkinberry. Great-grandchildren are Clint Baker, Kalee Holmes, Meagan Baker, Amber Patton, Aubryn Patton, Ethan Campbell, Brandon Dutton, Cody Dutton, Elenna Dutton, Chelsey Chamlee, Josh Smith, Ty Dutton, Tanner Dutton, Houston Dutton, Kason Black, Trenton Black, Cole Dutton, Sarah Dutton, Dakota Worley, Stetson Faulkinberry, Justin Faulkinberry, Worth Faulkinberry, and Gavin Watkins. Great-great grandchildren surviving are Lukas Holmes, Tristen Moran, Keriana Stone Dutton, and Elijah Holmes.

Funeral services for Mr. Clinton Marion Dutton will be conducted Friday, April 8th at 3:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Ty Dutton, Randy Dutton, Scott, Watson, Micky Watson, Rocky Dutton, Mark Childers, and Kevin Dutton.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
