Connie Mack Green

Mr. Connie Mack Green, age 76 of Resaca, passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at Gordon Hospital following an extended illness.

He was born on August 5, 1934 in Marion County, Tennessee, son of the late Colston and Laura Ellison Green. During his lifetime he was self- employed in the forestry industry, and was of the Church of God faith.

Mr. Green is survived by daughters, Sara Smith and her husband Kenny of Cartersville, Joyce Lanham and her husband Ed, Patricia Young and her husband Gary, Jeanie Allen and her husband Paul, all of Adairsville, Janie Kelley and her husband Rickey of Calhoun, and Lisa Emmett and her husband Michael of Dallas; two sons, Billy Green and his wife Denise of Calhoun, and Sandy Green and his wife Candi of Resaca; and aunts, Martha Smith and Mary Manis. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive.

At Mr. Green's request, his body will be cremated and a family memorial service will be held at a later date.
