Connie Laverne Shaw

Connie Laverne Shaw, 77, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. She was born in Rome, Georgia on November 26, 1946, to the late Raymond and Lela Belle Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Marvin Shaw; daughters, Shelia Medlin and Diane Coates; brothers, Gearld Young and Stevie Young.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William (Laura) Shaw; daughters, Angela Bricker, Patty McNabb; brothers, Gary Young and David Young; sisters, Eliane Young, Carolyn Cannon, Charlotte Brown, Brenda Chamlee; grandchildren, Hollie Kile, Isabella Shaw, Tiffany Smith, April Medlin, LeAnne Ingle, Roy Medlin, Heather Guillen, Jeffery Jones, Connie Jenkinson, Jennifer Bramlett; several great-grandchildren; partner of 16 years, James Ingle.

Connie was a loving, caring woman that wanted her children and family to inspire kindness and giving to others. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons.
