Curtis Foster "Speedy" Reese

Mr. Curtis Foster "Speedy" Reese, 74, of the Fairmount Community, died at Calhoun Health Care Center on Friday, September 18, 2015 following several months of declining health.

Curtis was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on August 24, 1940; he was the son of the late William Curtis and Alice Nix Reese. Curtis had worked with his family at their cloth store, in construction, with his uncle, Leon Johnson, and at Bellwood Nursery. He was of the Baptist faith.

Curtis is survived by many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Sammy Allen will officiate. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Johnson, Laroy Causby, Michael McEntyre, Wayne Bohannon, Robert Paris, and Brent Jones.
