C.W. Blankenship

Mr. C.W. Blankenship, age 54 of Adairsville, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Blankenship was born on October 7, 1954 in Spaulding County, son of Calvin A. Blankenship and Geraldine Hensley Blankenship. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jessie and Onie Hensley. During his lifetime he was associated with Universal Tile of Adairsville, and attended the Pleasant Valley Full Gospel Fellowship Church.

Mr. Blankenship is survived by one son, Chris Blankenship of Rosedale; parents, Calvin and Geraldine Blankenship of Adairsville; two sisters, Sue Stanley and her husband Alfred, and Kathy Jones and her husband Mike, all of Adairsville. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. C.W. Blankenship will be conducted Friday March 13, 2009 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Timms officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Valley Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Michael Jones, Michael Thompson, Dustin Phillips, Jeff Jones, Keith Jones, and Mike Jones. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
