Obituary

Dale Angland, 55, of Calhoun, died Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his home following several months of declining health. He was born in Gordon County on April 3,
1964, son of Willnell Adams Angland, and the late James Robert "Bob" Angland.
Dale had been employed with the Whitfield County Road Department Paving Crew for 27 years. He loved his family, and was an avid golfer. He was a Baptist and of the Christian faith.
He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Sara Worley Angland; his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Emily Harris; his daughter and son-in-law, Carly and Nathan Weaver; his mother, Willnell Adams Angland; his grandson, Cole Weaver; his brother, Kenneth Angland; his sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Dallas Cobb; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marisa and Tom Yancey; and his fur baby, Chloie. Other survivors include Autumn and Austin Ritchie and family, Becky Lanier and family, Jamey Angland and family, Michael Angland and family; his aunt, Barbara Towe; a host of cousins; and other relatives.
Services to honor his life will be held Monday, October 28th, at 3:00 PM, from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Jamey Angland, Michael Angland, Zac Lanier, Nathan Weaver, Caleb Weaver, and Randy Harris. The Whitfield County Road Department Paving Crew will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 28th, from 1:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM.
