Dale Shaun Kerns

Dale Shaun Kerns, 45, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. He was born in Flint, Michigan on April 7, 1978, to the late Sharon Hart Page. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Freeman Seritt, stepfather, George Page.

Dale was the owner of Mainline Plumbing and Electrical. He was a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Danelle Susan Kerns; sons, Dawson and Dustin Kerns; daughter, Dallas Kerns; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Leslie Kerns; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marvin and Vickie Seritt; mother-in-law, Brenda Seritt “Memaw”; aunts and uncles, Ken and Bobbie Hart, Luwanna and Lydia Hart, and Wilma Hart. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023, at 1:00 PM from Calhoun Church of Christ with Rev. Jule Medders, Marvin Seritt, and Douglas Kerns officiating. Burial will follow in Resaca Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Chastain, Eric Greeson, Fernando Cortes, Les Prine, Junior Seritt, and Will Brooks. Honorary pallbearers are Mauricio Quintero, Isaac Brooks, Colton Williams, Lance Chastain, Jaxson Silvers, Owen Williams, Chris Seritt, and members of the Calhoun High School Football Team.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM from Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
