Danny Ray Dean

Mr. Danny Ray Dean, age 51 of Plainville, GA died Friday, July 5, 2013 at his residence following several years of declining health. He was born in Gordon County on June 20, 1962, son of Patricia Ann Underwood Dean and the late William Eugene Dean, Sr.

Danny had lived his entire life in the Plainville community. He enjoyed buying and selling cars.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Ann Underwood Dean; three brothers, Ricky L. Dean of Shannon, William E. Dean of Chatsworth, and Christopher Tracy Dean of Sugar Valley; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and April Squires, whom he loved as his own daughter.

Funeral services for Mr. Danny Ray Dean will be held Tuesday, July 9th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Chaplain Dan Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial Baptist Church. Active pallbearers will include Harley Dean, Dakota Morgan, Johnny Underwood, Billy Patton, Josh Dean, Steve Hampton, Roger Scott, and Sammy Shumaker. These gentlemen are requested to assemble at the funeral home Tuesday at 2:30 PM.

The Dean family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
