Darlene Jean Helms

Mrs. Darlene Jean Lovell Helms, 51, of Calhoun, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at Gordon Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born on November 18, 1965 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Churchill.
Survivors include her husband, William "Danny" Helms of Calhoun; her daughters, Mary Lovell of Calhoun, and Jennifer Hinds of Dalton; her son, David Lovell of Calhoun; brothers, Robert and Lawrence Churchill of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Laura Frye and Susan Sullivan; and grandchildren, Aurora Keeney and John Keeney, both of Calhoun, and Kendrick Hinds of Dalton.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Darlene Jean Lovell Helms will be conducted Wednesday, February 22nd at 3:00 PM, from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Chandler Cemetery.
The Helms family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour of 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
