Darrell Lee Bunch

Darrell Lee “Goob” Bunch, 59, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. He was born on April 6, 1965, to the late Thomas Lelton Bunch and Mattie Lou Bunch Waters. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Johnny Worley; grandson, Theodore Hubbard; and special friend, Darwin “Doc” Whitfield.

 He is survived by his wife, Teresa Lee Bunch; sons, Quintin Bunch (Alexis) and Preston Smith; daughters, Heather Hubbard (Ronnie) and Tranquila King (Aubrey) and goddaughter Casey Johnson; brothers, Jerry Bunch (Debbie) and Tony Bunch (Cathie); sisters, Cathy Sharpe (Tim) and Lisa Worley; grandchildren, Bentley Hubbard, Grayson Bunch, Sawyer Hubbard, and Stetson Bunch; special nieces, Kesha Mauldin, Nikki Pollex, and Selina Christopher; special nephews, Brian Worley, Nick Bunch, Jody Fletcher, Eric Worley, Joe Bunch, and Jason Bunch; special friends, Jeff “Red” Culberson, Andy Benson, Tim “JoJo” Gowens, Johnny Griffin, Joseph “Joe” Weissmann, Bobby “Oddie” Craig, and David “Bumbalow” Craig. Several other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives survive. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association to honor the memory of Darrell Bunch.
