David Charles Loy

Mr. David Charles Loy, age 51 of Dalton, GA, died Monday, September 21, 2015 at his home. He was born in Cleveland, OH on January 29, 1964, son of Mary Kathryn Tucker Harris and the late Eugene Laverne Loy.

David was a diesel mechanic, employed with BAL Express. He loved music, playing country and gospel on his guitar. He was a caring and gentle man, who loved to help others, and could fix anything.

Survivors include his son, Gage Loy of Resaca; his daughter, Lauren Loy of Dalton; his mother, Kathryn Tucker Harris of Dalton; brothers, Don Loy, Ray Loy, Alan Loy, and Scotty Harris; and a sister, Carol Hunter.

Services to honor the life of David Charles Loy will be held Saturday, September 26th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. His body will be cremated following the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, September 25th, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
