David Larry Page

Mr. David Larry Page, 62, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at his home.

He was born January 15, 1950 in Fort McPherson, Georgia to Mary Walden Page and the late William Curtis Page, Sr. Mr. Page was employed by Hanesbrands for 31 years. He was an active member of College Park Baptist Church. His love for sports led him to spend many years coaching in the Winston-Salem Optimist soccer league, West Central Community Center basketball league, Pop Warner football - Mount Tabor Falcons, and the Pilot Mountain Association basketball league. He was a US Army veteran, serving in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division. He was a graduate of High Point University. He was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving is his wife of 39 years, Barbara Pearson Page; daughter Karen Page Clough and husband Mark of Columbia, NC; son Keith Alan Page of Charleston, SC; and a ""very special"" grandson, Samuel Curtis Clough. Also surviving is his mother, Mary Walden Page of Calhoun, GA; sisters, Mary A. Hergel and Patricia Ann Page, both of Calhoun; two brothers, William C. "Bill" Page, Jr. of Calhoun, and Roy Edward Page and wife Pam of Chatsworth, GA; and many special nephews and nieces.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. David Larry Page will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the Chandler Cemetery in Calhoun, GA with military honors.

The Page family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the College Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 1701 Polo Road, Winston Salem, NC 27106.
