David Wayne Simerly

Mr. David Wayne Simerly, age 43, of Menlo, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 29, 2006. He was born in Blount County, Tennessee, on April 1, 1963, son of Max and Dorothy Slaughter Simerly. Mr. Simerly had been employed by Brock Candy Company.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Simerly; mother and stepfather, Billy and Dorothy Holt of Calhoun; a son, Blake Simerly of Dalton; a daughter, Nicole Simerly of Dalton; three brothers; Gene Simerly of Sugar Valley, Brian and Brent Simerly of Dothan, Alabama; and two sisters; Glenda Davis, and Debbie Webb, both of Resaca, Georgia.

Funeral services for Mr. David Wayne Simerly will be conducted Sunday, December 31, at 4:00pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Jarrett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00am until the funeral hour.
