Delores Thames Worley

Mrs. Delores Thames Worley, age 73 of Calhoun, GA, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Illinois on July 18, 1938, daughter of the late Charles and Leah Newell Wubben. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Malcolm Thames on July 21, 2005.

Survivors include her husband Fred Worley, to whom she was married on March 2, 2008; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Corey Thames of Acworth, GA, Stephen and Melissa Worley, and Stewart and Allison Worley, all of Calhoun; four daughters, Diana Thames of Illinois, Susan Cooper and her husband Stacy of Ringgold, Brenda Campbell and her husband Tony of Illinois, and Stephanie Jones and her husband Maurice of Calhoun; and a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Nancy Thames of Michigan City, Indiana. Eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Delores Thames Worley will be held Thursday, August 25th at 10:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. A private family viewing will be held prior to the service.
