Dennis Lee Evans, Sr.

Dennis Lee Evans, Sr., 64 of Calhoun, died Monday, December 11, 2017 at Gordon Health Care. He was born in Adrian, Michigan on November 7, 1953, son of the late Howard and Wilma Jean Williams Evans.
Dennis moved to Gordon County in 1979 from North Carolina. He was employed with Goodyear Tire and Rubber, and was a member of Plainville Masonic Lodge #364, and Yaarab Temple, Dalton Shrine Club. He attended New Life Ministries.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Glenda Ruth Brewton Evans; his sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Lee and Angie Evans, Jr., of Rome, and Johnathon Wayne and Crystal Evans; brothers, James Evans of Kentucky, Maurice Evans of Michigan, Dale Evans of Michigan, and Chuck Evans of North Carolina; a sister, Kathy Swortout of Pennsylvania; step-grandchildren, Tiffani Stone and Kristen Patton; and step great- grandchildren, Kyran Stone, Colin Stone, Liyla Hollingsworth, and Abel Hollingsworth.
Graveside services, with Masonic Rites, to honor the life of Dennis Lee Evans, Sr., will be held Friday, December 15th at 2:30 PM from Fairview Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Morrow officiating.
The Evans family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Friday, December 15th from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
