Mr. Densel Earl Gregory, age 85 of Ranger, GA died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at his residence following several years of declining health. He was a life-long resident of Gordon County, born on April 15, 1928, to the late Walter and Lilly Virginia Wall Gregory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Buren Gregory.
Mr. Gregory had retired from Lockheed-Martin as an Electrician, and was a veteran, serving his country in the US Army.
He leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Diann Stone Gregory of the residence: a son, Tim Gregory of Fairmount; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Dale McClamrock of Calhoun, Denese and Carlos Almonzo of Calhoun, and Liza and Perry Hammett of Ranger; a sister-in-law, Martha Gregory of Calhoun; grandchildren, Rocky and Jada McClamrock, Derek, Chase, and Kassie Newman, Josh Gregory, Perry II, Peggy, Elizabeth, and Marcus Hammett; great-grandchildren, Teegan Godden, Kelson Newman, and Elle Causby; and a special nephew, Charles Stone.
At his request, Mr. Gregory's body will be cremated and there will be no services.
