Obituary

Diane Scohier Ortiz, 74, of Calhoun, GA died Thursday, September 10, 2020. She was born on September 23, 1945 in Butler County, PA to the late Raymond Michael and Thelma Scohier. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Scohier.
Loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Not one who met you could deny your pure joy and kindness. You have truly been a blessing to all in your life. And although your time in this life is gone, your harrowing example of unconditional love will live on in the hearts of everyone that held you dear.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Ruben Jesse Ortiz Jr.; her children, Robert Scott Williams, Connie(Bart) Hollander, Diane Grey, Suzanne Rounds, and her stepson Joshua(Lycynda) Ortiz; her siblings, Conrad(Donna) Scohier, Barbra(Van) Martian, Gregory(Gina) Scohier, John(Barbra) Scohier, Patrick(Camille) Scohier, Christopher(Suzanne) Scohier, and Marcy Scohier; grandchildren, Christine(Christopher), Hillary(Derkis) Cole, Michael, Laura, Carly, Brandy, Annie, Joslyne, Adalynn, and Savannah; great-grandchildren, Ella- Mae, Jackson, Charlie, Henry, Josie, and Andee; 12 nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces and nephews; she is also survived by a host of other relatives.
To honor her wishes her body was cremated and the family will have a private service at a later date.
