Mrs. Diane Parker Denton, age 54 of Titusville, Florida, formerly of Gordon County, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at Parrish Medical Center.
Mrs. Denton was born on March 21, 1958 in Floyd County, GA, daughter of Ola Mae Cowart Parker and the late Freeman Gene Parker. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Gene Parker. Before moving to Florida, she was employed at the Cherokee Health Care Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and had served as the Activity Director.
Survivors include her husband, James Denton of Titusville; mother, Ola Mae Parker of Calhoun; special nephews, Corey Parker and Jeremy Cromer; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Mrs. Diane Parker Denton will be conducted Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Parker officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
