Donna Elaine West

Mrs. Donna Elaine West, age 61 of Rome, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on February 8, 1952 in Floyd County, daughter of Johnnie Ruth Rogers West and the late William Clay West. She was employed with Gordon County Farm Bureau for 21 years.

Mrs. West is survived by a daughter, Jody Hood and her husband Norman of Rome; mother, Johnnie R. Greeson of Sonoraville; a sister, Gwen Bryant and her husband Kenneth of Sonoraville; grandchildren, Sydney Pledger, Jackson Pledger, and Carter and James Hood; a special friend, Rick Reed; and close friends, Tonya Hendrix and Candace Cole. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Elaine West will be conducted Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Music will be arranged by Haley Owenby. Pallbearers serving will include William Bryant, Joey Bryant, Danny Clark, Tony Turner, Phil Wilson and Ronald Amyx. Interment will follow the service in Fain Cemetery.

The West family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
