Donna Holmes Falls

Mrs. Donna Holmes Falls, age 53 of Athens, GA, formerly of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center. She was born in Gordon County on December 19, 1960, daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Frances Fuller Holmes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special aunt, Brenda Barnette.

Donna was of the Baptist faith, and attended New Hope Baptist Church in Rosedale. She had been employed with Apache Mills and the Yellow Jacket Drive-In in Calhoun.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Kenneth Randall Falls; a son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Keisha Daniel of Athens; a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Stephen Teasley of Dalton; a brother, Dennis Holmes of Rome; a loving mother-in-law, Barbara Falls; a sister-in-law, Michelle Barnette; a nephew, Harley Barnette; and other relatives. Grandchildren surviving are Mollee Kelly and Jax Kelly; and step-grandchildren, Katelyn Blackmon, Tyler Blackmon, Thomas Briem, Josh Kilgore, Jamie Daniel, Jr., and Mykenzie Teasley.

Services for Mrs. Donna Holmes Falls will be held Saturday, June 14th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Darrell Fuller and Rev. Mark Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the Oostanaula Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Stephen Teasley, Josh Kilgore, Jamie Daniel, Jr., Thomas Briem, Harley Barnette, and Daniel Kelly.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday after 6:00 PM.
