Obituary

Donnie Moss Pearce, 73, of Calhoun, Georgia died Sunday, August 15, 2021. He was born on September 7, 1947, in Rome, Georgia to the late Roland and Kathryn Cook Pearce.
Donnie was a graduate of Gupton- Jones College of Funeral Service and a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in GA and TN. He was a Bishop in the Church of God. He pastored in North Georgia, Tennessee, and New Mexico. He was a member of North Rome Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Betty Jean Gallman Pearce; sons and daughter-in-law, Leslie and Carla Pearce and Jason Pearce; daughter, Delora Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Pearce; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jim Leonard; grandchildren, Kyle, Dylan and Angel, Kollin and Kimmie, Cade, Azalee Pearce, and Ryan and Jonas Jones; great grandchildren, Easton, Elijah, Eliza, Kabriel, Langston Pearce.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 7:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Leonard and Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Burial will follow in GA National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 11:30 am. Pallbearers are, Kyle Pearce, Dylan Pearce, Kollin Pearce, Cade Pearce, Tim Leonard, and Richard Moen.
