Dorothy Dee Watwood

Mrs. Dorothy Dee Watwood, age 82 of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away January 5, 2010 at Redmond Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born on April 23, 1926 in Jackson, Tennessee, daughter of the late John and Annie Ewell Loines. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Watwood; two sisters, Rachel Dyer and Ora Mae McCrarey; and a brother, Thomas Loines. During her lifetime, she was a hairdresser and homemaker. Mrs. Watwood was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee.

Survivors are a daughter, Fran Connell and her husband Shane of Calhoun; a son, Mitchell Watwood and his wife Margie of Paragoald, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Watwood was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
