Obituary

Dorothy Bailey Hall, 85, of Rydal, GA died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at WellStar Cobb Hospital. She was born in Bartow County on September 13, 1933, daughter of the late Roy and Jennie Hollis Bailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lee Hall on October 8, 2015; a brother, James Alvin Bailey; a sister, Lucy Mae Bailey; brothers-in-law, Jerry Gravitt and Howard Hall; a sister-in-law, Johnnie Mae Bailey; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alton and Evelyn Holt.
Dorothy was a homemaker, and a member of Glade Baptist Church.
Survivors include her brother, Wesley Bailey of Calhoun; sisters and brother-in-law, Ethel and Jerry Knight, and Faye Gravitt, all of Cartersville; sisters-in-law, Eloise Hall and Marie Hall; nine nieces and nephews; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services to honor the life of Dorothy Bailey Hall will be held Saturday, December 29th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. J.A. Martin and Rev. David Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Steve Bailey, Charles Bailey, Keith Bailey, Terry Bailey, Michael Knight, and Johnny Knight.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 28th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
