Dorothy Jane Fuller

Mrs. Dorothy Jane Fuller, age 82 of Calhoun, died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at her daughter's residence following several years of declining health. She was born in Floyd County on June 5, 1930, daughter of the late Gus and Nina Reynolds Boozer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Jessie Fuller in 1993; a daughter, Joann Evans; two brothers, David Boozer and Norman Langley; and a sister, Mary Jones.

Survivors include four sons, Tommy Fuller and his wife Kyeisa of Rome, Randal Alred and his wife Sandra of Bethlehem, Donnie Alred and his wife Donna of Winder, and Thomas Gaines of Gainesville; four daughters, Brenda Pierce and her husband Randy of Calhoun, Barbara White and her husband Chubby of Rome, Sandra Alred of Bethlehem, and Evelyn Timms of Calhoun; and three sisters, Betty Roberson and her husband Lee of Rome, Patricia Bonner of Rome, and Fanlee Horton and her husband Earnest of Newnan; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Bowman and her husband Junior. Nineteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Jane Fuller will be held Tuesday, July 24th at 3:00pm from the East Calhoun Church, with Pastor Keith Reid and Pastor Jeff Dutton officiating. Interment will follow in the Erwin Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Jamie Couey, Robert Jordan, Chris Clark, Matt Mullins, Richie Pierce, Jonathan Clark, and Troy Mullins. These gentlemen are requested to assemble at the funeral home Tuesday at 2:00pm.

The family of Mrs. Fuller will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
