Dottie Creach

Mrs. Dottie Creach, age 63 of Talking Rock, GA passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 at Chatsworth Health Care Center following four months of illness.

She was born on August 7, 1947 in Franklin County, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Clara Wampler Morris. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Creach, her step-father, Vern Messenger; a daughter, Tammey Reese; and two step-sisters, Vera Durkee and Bevy Augustine.

Mrs. Creach is survived by a daughter, Tina Marie Stone of Talking Rock; four sisters, Shirley Bolbay of Belford, PA, Patricia Young of Calhoun, GA, and Clara Schwender and Barbie Chandler, both of Orlando, FL; step-sisters, Verna O'Donnell and Janie Firster, both of Orlando; and step-brothers, Fred Messenger and Frank Messenger, both of St Cloud, FL. Grandchildren surviving are Cody Stone, Jeffrey Stone, John Stone and Justin Stone; and three step-grandchildren, Melissa Childers, Angie Lock and Chris Stone. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dottie Creach will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Chastain officiating. Music will be arranged by Bobby and Travis Childers. Active pallbearers will include Chris Stone, Randy Mulkey, Rex Allen Young, Cody Stone, Jeffrey Stone, and Justin Stone. Johnny Falconer will serve as honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow the service in the Crane Eater Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 4:30pm until 9:00pm.
