Dymple Faye Shaw

Mrs. Dymple Faye Shaw, age 71 of Resaca, died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Gordon County on September 19, 1939, daughter of the late Charles and Toy Gentry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Wendel Gentry, Weyman Gentry, Delbert Gentry, and Theron Gentry.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Leon Arthur Shaw; two sons, William Shaw and his wife Terri of Rome, and Winston Sanders and Gail Wright of Calhoun; a brother, Mickey Gentry of Resaca; and a grandson, Shane Sanders.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dymple Faye Shaw will be held Wednesday, May 18th at 4:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Jimmy Gentry officiating. Mrs. Shaw's body will be cremated following the service.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
