Earl and Ann Casey

Earl Perrian Casey Jr. and Patricia “Ann” Stanley Casey, married 49 years, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Earl was born in Boaz, Alabama, on December 27, 1947, to the late Earl Perrian Casey Sr. and Nellie Jo Allen Casey. Ann was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on July 31, 1948, to the late J.T. Stanley and Azille Bertie Hall Stanley. 

Earl was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Nell Casey Mauldin.

Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, Randall Stanley and Steve Stanley; sister and brother-in-law, Eva Sue and Virgil Pierce. 

Earl and Ann enjoyed road trips and traveling together. Ann loved to cook for Earl and was especially known for having the best chicken casserole, baked mac and cheese, and homemade biscuits. She always enjoyed sharing her recipes with others, and she attended Red Bud School. Earl graduated from Sardis High School in Boaz, Alabama; he proudly served in the United States Army and retired from Shaw Industries. 

They are survived by their children, Randy Dutton (Robin), Junior Dutton (Rachel), and Nicky Smith (Mark Bates);  grandchildren, Brandon Dutton, Chelsey Cochran, Josh Smith, Cody Dutton, Elaina Luallen; and several great-grandchildren. Earl is survived by his sister, Lea Ann Truitt and her husband, Ed; nephew, Jody Ron Campbell, along with other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Calhoun Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 1927 Rome Rd SW, Calhoun, GA 30701.

A memorial service will follow on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM from Calhoun Full Gospel Fellowship Church with Rev. Hershell Pierce officiating.
