Edith Inez Wade

Mrs. Edith Inez Gragg Wade, 87 of Sugar Valley, died Friday, January 13, 2017. She was born in Ellijay, GA on March 31, 1929, daughter of the late Elisha B. Gragg and Selma Spivey.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John H. Wade; daughters, Allene and her husband Joseph of Sugar Valley, GA and Katherine Rhoads and her husband Mark of Salem, Ohio; a son, Kenneth Wade of Resaca, GA; brothers, Glen Spivey and his wife Caroline of Dalton, GA and George Spivey and his wife Susan of Eton, GA; sisters, Ruby Campbell of Youngstown, OH, Lexie Mae Busie of Resaca, GA, and Mary Lowery of Eton, GA; grandchildren, Renee Federico, Andrew Rhoads, Christopher and Chelsey Rhoads, Leshea Wade, and Lori Wade; great grandchildren, Wade Miller, Maci Wade, and Ruby Jane Rhoads; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Wade will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Ben Busie officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Billy Hobbs, Jim Roberts, Albert Edwards, Jim Fraitus, Winston Black, and Hugh Don Tate.
The Wade family will receive friends at the funeral Home on Sunday, January 15th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
