Edna D. Dutton

Mrs. Edna D. Dutton age 77, of Calhoun, passed away Thursday February 15, 2007 at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Cartersville.

Mrs. Dutton was born in Gordon County on October 1, 1929, daughter of the late Frank and Vinnie Dutton. She was of the Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by her husband Melvin Dutton on December 27, 1993. Two brothers, Otto and Lamar Dutton and one sister, Dora Jean Jones, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two step-sons and daughters-in-law; Ovell and Barbara Dutton, and Kenneth and Margie Dutton; six step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna D. Dutton will be conducted at 3:30pm on Sunday, February 18, 2007, from the Erwin Hill Church of God, with Rev. Charles Ivey and Rev. James Shope officiating. Singing will be arranged by Eva Joe Stepp. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
