Obituary

Mrs. Edna Frances (Ghorley) Ballew, 78, of Resaca, Georgia died Thursday, August 20, 2020, at her residence following several months of declining health.
Mrs. Ballew was born in Bradley County, TN. On October 18, 1941, daughter of the late Otto and Edna Inez Pell Ghorley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Stinnett Davis Ballew on May 31, 2019, and by a sister; Betty Maney and was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children; Donna (Clint) Kerns, Rachel (Andrew) Campbell and David (Hope Ballew, three sisters; Kathryn (Jimmy) Lewis, Linda (Max) Edwards and Evelyn (Buddy) Heard, one brother; Ray Ghorley, grandchildren; Dustin Ballew, Lydia Kerns, Kaylee Ballew, Drew (Debbie) Campbell and Daniel Campbell, great-grandchildren; Aubree Campbell, Davis Campbell, along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Frances (Ghorley) Ballew will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at 5:00 PM from Concord Baptist Church with Rev(s); Daniel Campbell, Jimmy Lewis, Randy Sutherland, Andrew Campbell and Clint Kerns officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 23, 2020, between the hours of 3:00 and 5:00 PM at Concord Baptist Church.
