Edna Lee Wilbanks

Miss Edna Lee Wilbanks, age 85 of Rome, GA, formerly of Gordon County, GA died Thursday December 22, 2011.

She was born in Calhoun County, AL on December 12, 1926, daughter of the late O.Z. Wilbanks Sr. and Reba Coggins Wilbanks. Preceding her in death were four sisters, Louise Parris, Jessie Mae Baynes, Johnie Mae Bradbury and Faye Jones; and two brothers, Clyde Wilbanks and Oscar Wilbanks, Jr.; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Wilbanks and Wilma Wilbanks.

Miss Wilbanks is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Miss Edna Lee Wilbanks will be held Monday December 26th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. James Chant officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. Peter Anderson. Interment will follow in Jacksonville, AL in the West Side Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 PM CST. Pallbearers serving will include Randy Wilbanks, Jonathan Wilbanks, Spencer Wilbanks, Tim Stover, Stanley Parris, and Dustin Wilbanks.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
