Elaine Keener

Elaine Kenner age 70 of the Taylortown Community, Ranger, GA died Tuesday evening after a two year battle with cancer.

Elaine was born in Gordon County on June 3, 1944, daughter of the late Elmer and Florence Pierce Keener. She was an Honor graduate of Fairmount High School and was retired having been employed with Springs Industries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, John Priest. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class.

Elaine is survived by one brother, Jackie Keener of Ranger and by two sisters, Mildred Long and Hazel Thornbrough both of Calhoun along with nieces and nephews.

A service will be held Friday at 3:00 PM from the graveside at Haven of Rest Memorial Park with Rev.Dr. Brent Davis and Bill Hutchinson officiating.

Funeral services for Elaine Keener are under the care and direction of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
