Elba Louise Sawickey

Mrs. Elba Louise Sawickey, age 89 of Calhoun, died Sunday, February 6, 2011. She was born in Cortland, NY on December 8, 1921, daughter of the late Gary Henry Fox and the late Louise Nye Fox. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Gordon, Robert, Leslie, and Richard Fox.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kyle Sawickey of Parrish, FL; three daughters, Sharon Gucker and her husband George of Cleveland, GA, Elaine Eaton and her husband Brian of Calhoun, and Lisa Ortloff of Sugar Valley; a brother, Donald Fox of McGraw, NY; and a sister, Joyce Caltaldo and her husband Henry of Florida. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Sawickey's body will be cremated and no services are planned.
